Jefa Steering ApS
Tandem spoke aluminium steering wheel 1000mm with leather cover
- The Jefa aluminum 6082 steering wheels are unique in the world, because the wheels are manufactured without welding
- The hollow spokes are threaded on the hub side and screwed into the hub
- At the tapered end the spokes are internally threaded and a through bolt from the outside of the rim is screwed into the threaded spoke
- The lack of welding (which drastically reduces the strength of aluminum) and the unique design result in an extremely light and extremely strong steering wheel weighing nearly half as much on an equivalent stainless steel wheel
- Due to the through bolt construction, the Jefa aluminum wheels are only available with the leather cover installed
- The wheels in the sizes from 700 mm to 1000 mm diameter are available as single spoke version and the wheels from 1100 mm to 1800 mm as tandem spoke version (see pictures)
- All aluminium wheels are supplied with a 25 mm diameter rim with the skin cover fitted, giving a total rim diameter of 29 mm
- Available finishes are either white or black powder coated

Kohlhoff DynIce furling rope
- The Kohlhoff DynIce Dyneema® anti-torsion cable is an excellent solution for small and medium sized yachts
- Besides the high torsional performance, the breaking strength of this cable is excellent, as it is pre-stretched under a special heat treatment
- The two polyester and Dyneema® sheathings are bonded with a special PU adhesive
- The outer sheath has a special braiding angle for optimum grip and excellent anti-traction properties
- The cable is expertly spliced to any individual length using our "S-Splice" process and with the LOOP® furling ears they fit into any standard furler
- The special aramid sheath prevents the splice from slipping and ensures optimal force transmission

Since 1991 we, the yacht outfitter Kohlhoff, are importer and wholesaler of different, high-quality deck fittings and steering systems for sailing yachts
Our company, located in Altenholz, is known for service, detailed product knowledge and friendly advice
Customer service is very important to our employees
That is why we moved our premises from Strande to Altenholz in December 2007
The new premises offer space for a permanent exhibition, a well-stocked warehouse, a small workshop, a training room and friendly offices
Our assortment is constantly adapted to the requirements of our customers
In order to inform our customers, we visit the big fairs every year and show you there novelties and well-tried products

Many of our products are very special and require a lot of consultation
Therefore, it often takes a lot of time and know-how to meet individual wishes
All our employees are active water sportsmen themselves and the experiences have been consolidated since our childhood from Opti sailing to various world and European championships in different boat classes in the scene
