Windelo's catamarans are equipped with two 20 kW electric motors and a 1120 Ah 48 V (53.8 kWh) lithium battery bank. Our innovative electric motor drive system saves a lot of energy. Our 1120 Ah 48 V battery bank is first charged with renewable energy sources: Solar, Water and Wind. At a speed of 6 knots, the Windelo 50 has a battery range of nearly 3 hours and 45 minutes and a range of approximately 22.7 nautical miles or 1100 nautical miles under power.
To improve comfort on board, Windelo and its partners have developed software that centralises all device management. It gives you a global overview of your energy consumption and generation.

Windelo is a French shipyard based in Canet-en-Roussillon. We build unique environmentally friendly high performance catamarans from 47 to 57 feet. While the production itself has a 47% lower environmental impact than conventional designs, Windelo offers additional innovations such as hybrid electric motors, a cockpit in the bow that can be opened to create an exceptional living space, and a comprehensive boat management system that integrates the power supply, among other features. Ecology and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. We build light and spacious boats that offer the best performance.
