Deutsche Bahn traffic massively affected from 24 to 29 January 2024
The GDL trade union has announced a nationwide strike in passenger transport at short notice from Wednesday, 24 January, 2 am to Monday, 29 January, 6 pm. This also affects travelling to boot Düsseldorf by train.
This strike does NOT affect the Rheinbahn network, i.e. the city of Düsseldorf, the district of Mettmann, the city of Meerbusch and the connections to Duisburg, Krefeld, Neuss and Ratingen will be served by Rheinbahn buses and trains as planned.
Sufficient parking spaces are available
All visitors travelling to boot 2024 by car will have no problem finding a parking space at Messe Düsseldorf. Especially on the weekend (27/28 January), additional parking areas will be opened in the large car parks P1 and P2.
